Funduszowy Maj 2026 Is Here!

May in Poland is shaping up to be something special. For one month, doors will open to places that are usually closed to the public — and communities across the country will come together to celebrate just how much has changed.

From open days at major investment sites to family picnics and local festivals, Funduszowy Maj is a nationwide showcase of the transformation that European Union Funds have brought to Polish cities and regions. Renovated town squares and historic old towns, cutting-edge science centres, parks, riverside promenades, cultural venues — this is your chance to experience them like never before.

The timing is no coincidence. May holds a special place in Poland’s relationship with Europe. The 1st marks the anniversary of Poland joining the European Union, while the 9th is celebrated as Europe Day — making this the perfect moment to reflect on over two decades of shared progress and investment.

Update:

“Funduszowy Maj” at the Museum of the Tarnów Region

As part of the “Funduszowy Maj” project, we invite you to visit the Museum Headquarters at Rynek 3 in Tarnów on Friday, May 8th, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Participants will have free access to the exhibition “Echoes of Nature. Transience and Permanence – paintings by Lucja Radwan, photographs by Zenon Kosiniak-Kamysz”, as well as the highly popular exhibition “Zofia Stryjeńska. Between Faith and Ritual”.

From 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, there will also be an information stand for the European Funds for Lesser Poland programme.
